Nintendo has announced a new character outfit and vehicle are in the next update for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild content has come to the game with update 1.6.0. This is a free update that is immediately available.
After updating Mario Kart 8 Deluxe to version 1.6.0, the new options are immediately available. Selecting Link will allow you to choose from his standard and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild costume. Under vehicle options are the Master Cycle Zero, an item that originally appeared as a reward for completing The Champions’ Ballad DLC’s EX Champions’ Ballad quest in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. You also get Ancient Tires, Hylian Kite and Paraglider customization options.
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is available for the Nintendo Switch.
