Mario Kart Arcade GP VR, Argyle Shift, and Ski Rodeo are now available for play in the first VR Zone Portal by Bandai Namco in the US. [Thanks, Road to VR!]
The VR Zone Portal is located in Washington D.C. at Union Station, near the national mall. While the VR Zone is a bit smaller than the ones in Shinjuku and Osaka, it seems there will still be a great variety of experiences to try out. They will be first-come, first-serve, with no reservations.
Here is Bandai Namco Amusement America’s Steve Ignarski’s statement on the opening of VR Zone Portal Washington D.C.:
“BANDAI NAMCO is thrilled to be a part of the innovative, cutting-edge project that is VR ZONE Portal. The launches in Japan and the UK brought great success, and we hope to follow suit in Washington, D.C. Mario Kart VR is a long-awaited title and we have no doubt it will be well-received in the states, due to its incredible, immersive game-play and outstanding equipment from HTC Vive.”
