Mario Kart in arcades this month!

Namco is releasing an arcade version of Mario Kart destined to hit Japan in the middle of this month. You can play with up to four people head to head. On top of every booth is a small camera that records your facial expressions as you drive. If you want to keep track of your winning streak you can grab a rechargeable stats card. Some pretty neat stuff, let’s hope that Nintendo and Namco brings this to arcades in the US.

Here’s the cast of characters. Note that Pac Man, Ms. Pacman and a random ghost make an appearance.
