Nintendo’s upcoming Mario Kart smartphone game, Mario Kart Tour, was expected to release within the fiscal ending March 2019 but it has been delayed to Summer 2019 in the latest financial results.
According to Nintendo’s report, the release date has been moved to Summer 2019 in order to “improve quality of the application and expand the content offerings after launch.”
Nintendo says as they endeavor to develop future planned application, they will also focus on continued service operations for apps that have already been released, in order to ensure the longevity of enjoyment for fans.
Mario Kart Tour is in development for iOS and Android.
