Mario & Luigi Visit The World’s Tallest Building

Taipei 101 is a major tourist attraction in Taiwan and the world’s tallest building coming in at 508 meters high. You know what you expect to see there? An amazing view.

You know what you don’t expect to see there? Anything related to video games. Especially, not Nintendo video games since Nintendo barely has a presence in Taiwan. PC gaming and MMOs reign over there.

While waiting for the elevator to the top a video showcasing the history of the building looped. And Mario & Luigi were featured in it. They are only in the clip for a split second under the people section, but Nintendo’s mascots were in a film introducing a national landmark instead of local celebrities and politicians. Strange, but true!
