The Mario and Sonic all stars certainly look ready to compete in Nintendo’s latest video. The company has released the opening movie from Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, the latest entry in the Mario & Sonic series. This will be the fifth time the characters have “participated” in the Olympics.

In the one and a half minute Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games opening, a number of the game’s elements are highlighted. It seems as though the most of the over 40 playable characters all make an appearance. We also get to see snippets of the American football, boxing, archery, 100m dash, BMX, and gymnastics events.

Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games will come to the Nintendo 3DS in North America on March 18, 2016 and in Europe on April 8, 2016. North America and Europe will both get the Nintendo Wii U version on June 24, 2016. The actual Rio 2016 Olympics will be held August 5-21, 2016.
