Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games Video Shows Some Nintendo 3DS Version Dream Events

Nintendo has released a new video going over the Nintendo 3DS version of Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games. It lasts three minutes and is designed to help people understand how some touch controls will work, Dream Events will look,

 

In order, the new Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games trailer begins by going through the football (soccer), golf, javelin, rhythmic gymnastics, long jump, 110m hurdles, boxing, table tennis, 100m freestyle swimming, archery, and BMX events. The golf and javelin segments both show the touch screen controls. The video then shows off the Dream Event versions of the golf, archery, long jump, equestrian, volleyball, boxing, 110m hurdles, table tennis, rhythmic gymnastics, and soccer events. It then wraps up by showing how Download Play, Road to Rio Mii training elements, and amiibo Mario and Sonic costumes work.

 

Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games is now available on the Nintendo 3DS in North America. It will come to Europe on April 8, 2016.
