Mario Tennis Aces Hits the Big Leagues with Superstar Players in Facebook Stay at Home Slam

In order to help those affected by the COVID-19 coronavirus, Facebook Gaming is holding a tournament this weekend featuring many sports superstars playing virtual soccer, basketball, and tennis as part of a charity donation effort. However, while soccer and basketball is represented by the more realistic-oriented FIFA and NBA 2K series, for tennis the celebrities and sports stars will be facing off in Mario Tennis Aces as characters like Mario, Chain Chomp, and Dry Bowser.

Tennis stars set to play Mario Tennis Aces this weekend include Serena and Venus Williams, and Naomi Osaka. Here’s a look at the full list of celebrities set to participate in the virtual tournament:

How the tournament will work is that essentially every competitor will receive $25,000 to donate to a charity of their choice, and the winner of the tournament across FIFA, NBA 2K, and Mario Tennis Aces will get to donate another one million dollars to their choice.
