Marvelous Has A Wii Horror Game That Uses The Balance Board [Update]

Marvelous is moving back into risky territory with Ikenie no Yoru. This Wii game is a horror adventure and it uses the balance board. For what? We’re not sure and searching for scans.

The title may translate to Night of the Sacrifice. That’s a bit of a guess on my part since it’s written in katakana, characters primarily used for foreign words.

Ikenie no Yoru is slated for March 24, 2011 in Japan as a 6,090 yen ($72) retail game.

Update: More details are leaking out about Night of the Sacrifice. The story involves a custom where a sacrifice is made to a god. Five college students get caught up in this event. The player has to help them solve a mystery. While nothing has been said about what the balance board does, we know the game is designed so you have to rely on the Wii remote as a light source. Presumably, players will use it light a flashlight.
