The Mass Effect Legendary Edition has a release date. People will be able to pick up the full trilogy and play it on their PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC on May 14, 2021. Also, it turns out this won’t just be a full release that includes up to 4K Ultra HD and HDR support and every bit of DLC. The character creator and original Mass Effect will be added to and improved.

Most of the changes will be found in Mass Effect. The announcement confirmed that there will be a new UI for people to use. People will also find mechanics will feel more in line with its sequels, with the camera and targeting systems among the adjusted features. Eden Prime, Feros, and Ilos will also feel different. All three places will be more fleshed out and detailed than they were in the original game.

As for the character creator, it will offer more for people to do. Mass Effect 3’s FemShep model will be the default for all three games’ female option. Also, EA said people can expect more skin tones and hairstyles, which will be present in each game.

Here’s the Mass Effect Legendary Edition release date trailer. In addition to the new details, it offers a better idea of how the lighting, shaders, and textures will all look in the new game and in 4K.

The Mass Effect Legendary Edition PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC versions’ release date is May 14, 2021. It will also be “forward compatible” with the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. All DLC will be included. A new Mass Effect game is also in development.
