Master System and more, Custom Robo V2 coming to Japan’s Virtual Console

This article is over 17 years old and may contain outdated information

The earth shattering Virtual Console news for the month of February is the debut of Sega Master System games starting with the Fist of the North Star, a well timed release that coincides (possibly piggbacks on?) with Spike’s Fist of the North Star DS game.

Most of the other titles on the list are already on the North America’s Virtual Console so this list probably won’t act as a crystal ball unless Hudson has a lost localization of Do Re Mi Fantasy: Milon no Doki Doki Daibouken lying in their desks. The oddest addition is Custom Robo V2 from Nintendo. Instead of releasing Custom Robo and then the sequel, Nintendo cut to the chase going straight to Custom Robo V2. Perhaps, it’s because the games were fairly similar, but Custom Robo V2 has four player multiplayer.

Update: Maybe Hudson does have an English build of Do Re Mi Fantasy: Milon no Doki Doki Daibouken in their closet. I forgot that Levi dug up an OFLC listing for it earlier this month! (Thanks for the reminder!)
