Capcom announced a special alternate color for a Street Fighter 6 character to commemorate the upcoming Street Burgers collaboration at McDonald’s Japan. The announcement Tweet didn’t specify which character will receive the skin, though it included a poster featuring Luke, Jamie, Ken, Ryu, and Chun-Li for the campaign.
Starting from October 22, 2025, McDonald’s Japan will introduce three burgers and two drinks that are based on iconic characters from the Street Fighter series. You’ll be able to get burgers based on Ryu, Ken, and Chun-Li, and then drinks that have either Ryu or Ken on the cups. Usually, in-game awards from offline collaborations require players to purchase the campaign items at the stores, and then scan or input a code to redeem the award. More information on how to get the skin will come out after the campaign starts.
Luke and Jamie, who are newer characters in the franchise, appear on the poster despite their absence in the collaboration menu, as they are the poster boys of Street Fighter 6, which is the newest game in the long-running series. However, their inclusion in the poster could also mean that either Luke or Jamie will be the receivers of the collaboration color. Also, in the poster, Luke is wearing a red, yellow, and white variation of his usual blue outfit.
Street Fighter 6 is readily available on the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch 2, Windows PC, and in arcades.
