Mecha powered mashup, Gundam meets Mahjong

Namco Bandai is taking the lovable characters from Gundam, making them look younger and shoving them into the endless battle known as mahjong. I heard about the title before, but the screenshots from Dengeki Online are news. You start Gundam Mahjong + Z by picking a character, each one has a different scenario to play. Then you enter a game of mahjong and test your skills against three computer controlled players. Not challenging enough? You can play against human players via Nintendo Wi-Fi. Too challenging? Gundam Mahjong + Z has a tutorial mode to teach you the basics.

Namco Bandai really has their bases covered with this. Kids will be attracted to the cute characters and adults will dig the online mode.
