Meet Omega Quintet’s Five Divas Who’ll Be Saving The Planet… With Songs

In Compile Heart’s upcoming “idol x RPG” title, Omega Quintet, it’ll be up to the five Verse Maidens to stop a phenomenon called “beep” from completely taking over the planet. This week’s Famitsu shares more information on the divas.

According to the Famitsu report, the Verse Maidens are people with special powers that can be used to fend off the “beep” by using the powers of song and dance. These powers are used to fight and save the remainders of mankind, while giving them hope and dreams.

Here’s a look at the five Verse Maidens.

Otoha

Otoha is a new member of the Verse Maidens, who loves the fact that they bring hope and dreams to others. She’s a hard worker who is always positive, but she’s also still growing and can be prone to making clumsy mistakes. However, she’s as cheerful as they come, and spreads it to those around her.

Kyoka

Kyoka (pictured to the left) has a strong sense of responsibility on herself and the others. She’s a “cool beauty” who does her job as a Verse Maiden while caring about others, but she also has a hard time expressing those feelings.

Kanadeko

Kanadeko might be the most lady-like as far as her body goes, but she’s actually has quite the explosive personality. She’s the type of girl who’d make snap decisions without thinking ahead of time, and can often find herself getting in trouble at times because of that.

Nene

Unlike the other girls, Nene is more on the timid side, with plenty of nervous and weak-willed tendencies. She often shies away and hides behind Kanadeko, but they say that she has a completely different side to her when it comes to combat…

Aria

Aria might look the youngest, but she’s actually been a Verse Maiden longer than the others. This mysterious diva tends to distance herself with her speech and behavior, which seems to confuse those around her.

Finally, here’s a look at a full version of Omega Quintet’s earlier teaser trailer:

Omega Quintet will be released on September 18, 2014 for PlayStation 4.
