Meet The Girls In Otomedius Excellent

Otomedius Excellent replaces the spaceships from Gradius with girls personified as spaceships. Did you see Aoba Anoa? She’s the first character in the game’s animated opening and… a female Vic Viper. Aoba is from the original Otomedius.

New characters made for Otomedius Excellent include Kokoro Belmont and two guests from Konami’s Busou Shinki series.

While Otomedius Excellent looks like the kind of game that’s only for Japan, Konami plans on publishing it in North America sometime this year.
