Team Ninja and Koei Tecmo released the Minato debut trailer for the Dead or Alive 6 Last Round DLC heroine joining the game’s cast of characters. She’s the first entirely new addition to the title, as the past folks all showed up in the original release. She debuts on September 10, 2026.
Minato is described as a “mystery” in the PlayStation Blog reveal for the character. She’s apparently attending a high school in Japan and competing in dance competitions. However, she’s also working alongside NiCO at M.I.S.T. Because of that job, she’s using a contact lens technology that allows her to analyze her opponent and copy their attacks. So her moveset will apparently consist of her own unique abilities inspired by her dancing experience, like Minato Shuffle, and also some copying.
Here’s the first trailer for the Dead or Alive 6 Last Round Minato DLC. In addition to her attacks, we also get to see two costumes for her. One is a standard schoolgirl uniform, and the other looks like something she might wear during one of her dance competitions.
Dead or Alive 6 Last Round is available for the PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC, and the Minato DLC debuts on September 10, 2026.
