Mega Man Universe Gameplay Is Like Classic Mega Man

Preparing for a public reveal at PAX this weekend, Capcom gave us a less cryptic Mega Man Universe gameplay trailer.

Ah, so Mega Man Universe is really classic Mega Man with multiple characters. I wonder what the same level would be like with Ryu… from Breath of Fire.

The style is quite different from other Mega Man titles. It doesn’t have the sharp anime look from Mega Man X or the pixilated characters from the Famicom games. And it almost feels like Capcom made this stage or at least the part with Mega Man written in bricks just for the trailer. Perhaps, there’s a level creator too.
