Cygames added a new character to the pool of Umamusume: Pretty Derby Trainees, with Meisho Doto joining selection of Medium and Long runners for Turf races. Her featured banner is available until October 30, 2025, alongside a rerun banner for SSR Special Week and Tokai Teio Support Cards.

Meisho Doto is known more for her personality than her skills, stat spread, or potential for inheritances. She arrives as a three-star character. She specializes in Turf, and it’s not really possible to get her into a place where she could be a Dirt runner since that aptitude starts at E. She’s best at running Medium and Long races and isn’t suited for Sprint or Mile ones. She’s ideally used as a Pace Chaser, but she does start with a B in Late Surger. Her Unique Skill is called I Never Goof Up and can kick in when she’s passing on a corner in the late race when she’s in a Pace Chaser or Late Surger position. If you increase her potential levels, she can also pick up the Pace Chaser Skill Speed Star or get the stamina-restoring skill Indomitable.

Here’s the new infographic showing what you can expect from Meisho Doto as an Umamusume: Pretty Derby Trainee character.

There’s also an official Student Introduction video that shows her in-game and lets us hear her voice actress. Misaki Watada plays her. Watada also appeared in Atelier Ryza 2 as Fi, Bocchi the Rock as Futari Gotoh, Digimon Survive as Miu Shinonome, and Sakura Wars the Animation as Clara.

Umamusume: Pretty Derby is available for the PC and mobile devices.
