Metal Gear Solid 4 still a Playstation 3 exclusive

Kojima-san premiered a new trailer for Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots at the Playstation press briefing. After the trailer Jack Tretton confirmed Metal Gear Solid 4 is only coming to the PS3. Kojima-san mentioned that this will be his last game in the Metal Gear series and the last game for Solid Snake. Metal Gear Solid 4 is on track to come out in early 2008 for a simultaneous worldwide release, a first for the MGS series.

Speaking of exclusives, Sony also has an exclusive deal with NCSoft to make a MMORPG game on the Playstation 3. It is unknown if the new game is going to be based off of one of NCSoft’s franchises like Guild Wars or if it’s brand new, but a MMORPG is coming in the pipeline.
