A major Konami game is about to get a PlayStation 4 Pro update. Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain will receive a free patch on October 31, 2017. The announcement was made via Twitter today. Details on what improvements will come with this PlayStation 4 Pro update have yet to be announced.

As a reminder, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is one of the PlayStation Plus Instant Game LIbrary games for October 2017. This means PlayStation Plus members can get the game for free and see the update firsthand until the store updates on November 7, 2017 with the free games for next month.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is available for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC.
