Metal Gear Survive does its best to reference past installments in-game, with one example being it the ability to collect music tracks from older entries and play them at a radio station on the base. But on April 10, 2018, it will go a bit deeper with a co-op event based on Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. Konami says The Encounter 1964 will begin that day and run until April 24, 2018.
Details are not available regarding what this Metal Gear Survive event will entail, but we do know going through the multiplayer will earn you Battle Points that can be put toward accessories, a cassette tape, face paints, a gesture, and a nameplate.
