People can start clicking a button to show their interest in Metal Slug Infinity, an idle RPG inspired by the Metal Slug series. The Google Play and One Store pages for it have opened, allowing people with Android devices to preregister for the game.
There are a few limitations in place. For example, the preregistration excludes a few countries, as noted on Facebook. People in China, Japan, Hong Kong, and Macao can’t opt in. Also, the iTunes Store page is not yet open, though preregistration page there will supposedly open soon.
In Metal Slug Infinity, you are responsible for deploying a Metal Slug army. You will be able to tap to send out the various units you have collected to defeat enemies, save P.O.W.s, and clear areas. So far, it has been confirmed that Eri, Fio, Marco, and Tarma will all appear as playable characters.
In addition to the Metal Slug Infinity preregistration opening, a trailer has been released that shows exactly how the idle RPG works.
Metal Slug Infinity does not yet have a release date, but it is coming soon.
