Metal Wolf Chaos, FromSoftware’s game about a deposed president piloting a mech and fighting against a villainous vice president, will be heading to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in 2019. However, it didn’t appear during the Devolver Digital E3 2019 media briefing. This doesn’t mean it was forgotten. The company issued an update on Twitter today noting that the Metal Wolf Chaos XD release date will be announced after E3 2019.

The exact statement from Devolver Digital was, “Metal Wolf Chaos XD news and release date coming after E3 – stay vigilant, Mr. President!” No follow up information was provided.

Metal Wolf Chaos XD, an updated version of the game with a new save system, new control options, 16:9 and 4K resolution, and improved visuals, was first announced during the Devolver Digital E3 2018 media briefing. It initially had a late 2018 release window, which was pushed to 2019 in August 2018.

Metal Wolf Chaos originally appeared on the Xbox.
