Metroid Prime: Federation Force Shows Off Its Amiibo Functionality

Nintendo has revealed the manner in which amiibos will interact with the upcoming Metroid Prime: Federation Force. In the game, amiibos will be used to add a special paint job to Mechs in Blast Ball matches. You can check out the ones based off of the Mario and Bowser amiibos below.

Additionally, the Samus and Zero Suit Samus amiibos also have a special function in the game. As revealed on Nintendo of America’s official Twitter, the two amiibos can be used to give you “helpful in-game upgrades.”
