Samus made a big return at E3 2017 with not just the announcement of Metroid Prime 4 for Switch, but also with Metroid: Samus Returns for 3DS, a new 2.5D action game. Here’s a look at more footage from the Treehouse showing that followed the Nintendo E3 2017 Spotlight.

Metroid: Samus Returns is developer MercurySteam’s reimagining of Metroid II: Return of Samus as the foundation. It’ll still be a side-scroller at the core with some 2.5D action. Samus will also receive new abilities to help her way through the upcoming title, such as the Aeion Abilities, a Melee Counter, and Free Aim Mode that allows for 360-degree targeting.

Metroid: Samus Returns launches on September 15, 2017 for Nintendo 3DS.
