In Metropolis: Lux Obscura, players will work their way through the seedy, dangerous underworld of the city, combing through back alleys, strip clubs, and other unsavory places as they look for clues and deal with rough encounters. Based on the decisions they make and the places they go, their main character can develop various bad habits that need to be dealt with, as well as guide them to one of the game’s four endings.

Should players run into troublemaking thugs or thieving Elvises, they will have to engage their foe in a Match-3 game, trying to avoid a beat-down by beating their opponent with a puzzle. Despite the odd nature of some of the opponents, these puzzle matches are designed to be highly challenging.
