The game is Mega Man-style platformer that stars characters from the Azure Striker Gunvolt series, Mighty No. 9, and the Gal Gun series. One of the game’s major characteristics is the ability to customize your weapon with different attributes gained via secret chips found in levels or in level rewards, rather than earning weapons after beating the eight bosses.

Mighty Gunvolt Burst is available on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo 3DS, and is coming to PC via Steam on July 31, 2019. The game will cost $9.99. The game is also available under the name Gal Gunvolt Burst on PlayStation 4. Physical versions will release on August 28, 2020 for Switch and PS4.
