Nintendo has announced the appearance of The Legend of Zelda clothing and accessories in Miitomo. An assortment of items inspired by the series will come to Miitomo Drop and the Miitomo Shop. But first, Nintendo is encouraging people to participate in a The Legend of Zelda retweet Campaign.
Nintendo’s North American, Japanese, and European Twitter accounts all have tweets announcing the The Legend of Zelda cross-over online. If these receive 10,000 retweets combined, every Miitomo user who logs in between June 15 and July 14, 2016 gets a Link’s New Hair wig. If the messages are retweeted a total of at least 20,000 times, people also get a Green Link Wig with his iconic green hat. The deadline for reaching those retweet goals is June 13, 2016.
On June 14, 2016, other The Legend of Zelda items will come to Miitomo. Miitomo will have catchers, the in-game shop ill have one “special item,” and My Nintendo will have a related item people can get for their Mii with Platinum Points. None of the other clothing or accessory items have been revealed yet. They’ll be available until July 14, 2016, after their in-game debut.
Miitomo is immediately available on Apple iOS and Android devices.
