Miitomo’s The Legend Of Zelda Retweet Event Adds A T-Shirt Reward

Earlier this week, Nintendo announced The Legend of Zelda items would be coming to Miitomo. Ahead of the new Miitomo Drop, Miitomo Shop, and My Nintendo Miitomo reward items, it launched a retweet campaign. If people retweeted a specific tweet on the North American, European, and Japanese Twitter accounts, they’d receive Link wigs for reaching the 10,000 retweet and 20,000 retweet plateaus. The campaign was so successful, an additional t-shirt reward has been added.

The new black 8-bit Link tee reward is a black t-shirt with a sprite of Link as he appeared in the first The Legend of Zelda game. It can be worn by your Miitomo avatars. If Nintendo’s tweets relating to this event are retweeted over 40,000 times by 7:59am PT on June 13, 2016, then every Miitomo user who logs in between June 15 and July 14, 2016 gets the Link’s new hair wig, green Link wig, and black 8-bit Link tee.

The Legend of Zelda avatar items will arrive in Miitomo on June 14, 2016 and be available until July 14, 2016. In the meantime, three Splashin’ Fashion Miitomo Drop catchers that provide rainy day outfits and a frog costume have been added to the app.
