Mister Slime officially sticks on North America’s DS release schedule

I think we called it last month when we found and mentioned Mr. Slime while perusing Gamestop’s retail list, but now the news is official. Southpeak Interactive is bringing the only Nintendo DS game from Lexis Numérique to North America this April. Unlike Rocket from Dragon Quest Heroes Mister Slime doesn’t get shot out of a cannon. The gameplay consists of stretching Mister Slime’s elastic and probably viscous arms to grab objects and blowing into the microphone to help him breathe underwater. The project sounds ambitious and the gameplay initially appears to be creative as seen in the video below.
