Mobile Suit Gundam: Gihren’s Ambition Adds Gundam UC On PSP

Namco Bandai is bringing Mobile Suit Gundam: Gihren’s Ambition to PSP. Unlike other Gundam titles this is a strategy game, perhaps similar to Advance Wars or Daisenryaku, set during the One Year War. Players can select scenarios from commanders and Gundam pilots like Amuro Ray.

First released for Sega Saturn, the PSP version has updated attack scenes, a new anime opening, and characters from Mobile Suit Gundam UC. While you can control units from Gundam UC, Namco Bandai did not create a scenario for this series.

Mobile Suit Gundam: Gihren’s Ambition comes out on August 25 in Japan.
