Today, Bandai Namco announced that Kotoba no Puzzle: Mojipittan Encore, announced last year via Nintendo Direct, will release on April 2, 2020. The game will be priced at 3,300 yen. [Thanks, Game Watch!]
This particular iteration is based off the Wii version, Kotoba no Puzzle: Mojipittan Wii Deluxe, and includes new puzzles and an expanded vocabulary to account for the ten years since the previous game came out. Words like ‘Reiwa’ are all available this time around.
Furthermore, a second Mojipittan creation project will be held from January 27 to February 29, with Bandai Namco asking players to submit new phrases and stage designs to include in the game. The first time around, over 10,000 submissions were accepted.
Kotoba no Puzzle: Mojipittan Encore releases on Nintendo Switch in Spring 2020.
