Half-man, half-frog Finch has lost his dad. This is a problem, if only because Finch isn’t old enough to buy a toy he wants. In the process of recovering him, he might just accidentally save the world, though, in sidescrolling action/exploration game Mongrel.
Finch’s selfishness will get him into odd situations across the various worlds of Mongrel. Still, his half-frog body gives him the strength and speed to get out of most trouble, and the arsenal of weapons and tools he can find, many with puzzle-solving or exploration-assisting abilities, will get him out of the rest.
Mongrel has brought its brand of Conker’s Bad Fur Day-inspired humor to Kickstarter and Steam Greenlight, and expects to release sometime in 2017.
