Monolith Soft Sees 99% Profit Increase; Opens New Studio In Osaki, Tokyo

Two pieces of news regarding Xenoblade Chronicles developer Monolith Soft were released recently, regarding their financial and corporate side.

 

Firstly, Monolith Soft has seen a final profit increase of 98.6% in the fiscal year ending March 2019 year on year. Their final profit total was 274 million yen, compared to 138 million yen in the fiscal year ending March 2018. During this period, they developed Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Torna – The Golden Country, which released both standalone and as the final large story DLC in the Season Pass.

 

Additionally, Monolith Soft announced this week that their new studio in Osaki, Tokyo is now open, and that they are recruiting new staff, including system management staff, effect programmers, modeling technical artists, rigging artists, and more.
