Apart from Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate, Kojima was also the producer for the third-person shooter E.X. Troopers, which released for Nintendo 3DS and PlayStation 3. He also helped produce The Great Ace Attorney, also on 3DS.

Kojima thanked Capcom and his former colleagues on Twitter, saying that they were passionate and great coworkers. It doesn’t seem like he’s joining any other game company for now, as he’ll be taking a break. However, he hopes he’ll be able to be involved in other interesting projects in the future.
