Monster Hunter Just Won’t Stop Roaring

You didn’t think we were done with the bevy of Monster Hunter games you could play on smartphones, right? What was previously codenamed “Rio” for a new Monster Hunter game has now been revealed to be Monster Hunter: Roar of Cards.

We’ve got a short promotional video of it that shows off some super-deformed Hunters facing off against stalwarts such as Tigrex and Rathalos and not much else. It does look like you’ll still have to join a guild of other hunters to take down the beasts, complete quests and possibly gather raw materials though to craft new stuff. And there will be cards in there, somehow. If that, yakkno, kinda wasn’t given away already.
