Monster Hunter Outlanders 2nd Closed Beta Sign-ups Open

Capcom and Timi Studio announced a Monster Hunter Outlanders 2nd Closed Beta test and opened sign-ups for people interested in participating. Applications are open on the official site now. Those will run until April 21, 2026. Timi didn’t note when people will be selected and the trial itself will run, however.

Timi shared a few details about what to expect from this Monster Hunter Outlanders run. Since this is a beta, your progress won’t be saved. There will be a data wipe that erases all your progress once it is done. However, you will get exclusive in-game rewards that commemorate your participation when the full game launches. In order to take part, there are some device restrictions. Someone will need an iPhone XR or later that is running iOS 17 or better and a Android device that has a Snapdragon 845 or later and runs Android 12.0 or better. The only supported languages will be Chinese (Simplified), English, German, Japanese, and Spanish (Latin American). 

There is a trailer for this Monster Hunter Outlanders 2nd Closed Beta that starts with a cinematic before heading into some gameplay. We see some different characters before looking at areas that will be present in this latest trial. zipline and launcher traversal methods are shown. We also get to see a group of four new Adventurers that will be playable. There’s also a hint at the Radiant Species versions of monsters that will show up. 

Monster Hunter Outlanders is in development for Android and Apple iOS devices, and the mobile 2nd Closed Beta test sign-ups are open until April 21, 2026.
