As is common for Capcom, there’s Monster Hunter Rise art to celebrate the Christmas and holiday season. It also follows a trend set with other images since Monster Hunter Rise launched. It borrows some artistic styles from Japanese sumi-e paintings. This time around, a hunter, Palamute, Palico, and Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak‘s Lunagaron show up.
Here’s the new Monster Hunter Rise Christmas art with Lunagaron. Capcom revealed the new Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak monster during The Game Awards 2021. It has a werewolf-like appearance. The Hunter is dressed as and acting like Santa. Meanwhile, the Palamute takes on the role of reindeer and is pulling the sleigh.

This is the second time a new monster from Sunbreak appeared in holiday art. For Halloween 2021, the illustration included Malzeno. That dragon will be the flagship monster for the upcoming expansion. When the add-on launches, there will also be an amiibo of Malzeno available.
Monster Hunter Rise is available for the Nintendo Switch. The PC version will be available on January 12, 2022. Demos are available for both platforms. Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak will release in Summer 2022.
