Capcom announced it is now possible to pre-order Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection and, in the process, confirmed the Layered Armor cosmetic bonus people get for doing so. It is a Skyscale Queen costume for the ally Eleanor.
Eleanor is an ally who joins our prince or princess of Azuria, and she’s the princess of the opposing kingdom Vermeil. Capcom confirmed that while we will get the Layered Armor pre-order bonus for her right away, it isn’t immediately accessible. It will need to be unlocked. Once it is, someone can go into options and choose Change Companion Outfits to put her in the Skyscale Queen costume.
To go along with the pre-order pages opening and bonus announcement, Capcom shared a new Monster Hunter Stories 3 trailer. That features the player avatar and Eleanor encountering people dear to them as they attempt to stop conflicts and save their kingdoms. A number of important supporting cast members also appear alongside their monster companions, and we see how the Encroachment crystals are affecting Vermeil. The video also confirmed Canynes will appear in this game.
Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection will come to the Switch 2, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC on March 13, 2026, and it is possible to pre-order it and get Eleanor Layered Armor in the process.
