Monster Hunter Stories Is Getting A Smartphone Puzzler Based On Its Anime

Capcom is releasing a new smartphone puzzler for Monster Hunter Stories, based on its anime series, Monster Hunter Stories: Ride On. Here’s a look at its gameplay in a new trailer.

Otomon Drop: Monster Hunter Stories is a puzzle game with simple controls based on Monster Hunter Stories: Ride On. The game takes you through various fields, with puzzle elements that involve connecting Otomon heads to attack enemies and aim for combos.

As you attack enemies and connect combos, it increases your “Bond Gauge,” which you can then use to pull off “Bond Attacks” that we’ve seen in Monster Hunter Stories. The game also offers weapon and armor that you can equip. You can also teach monsters to make them into powerful allies of your preference.

Otomon Drop: Monster Hunter Stories launches in Japan on November 16, 2016 for iOS and Android.
