Monster Hunter: World Becomes The First Capcom Title To Ship 10 Million Units Worldwide

Capcom announced today that Monster Hunter: World has officially surpassed the 10 million milestone in worldwide shipments and digital sales following the release of the PC version earlier this month.

 

Since the debut of the very first Monster Hunter title 14 years ago in 2004, with the added 10 million from Monster Hunter: World, the series has now exceeded the 50 million units in cumulative sales as of August 20, 2018.

 

The last time Capcom shared that Monster Hunter: World hit 8.3 million in shipments and digital sales back in June 30, 2018. The PC version was estimated to have sold over 2 million units on Steam in its first days since launch in August 9, 2018.

 

Monster Hunter: World is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
