Monster Hunter: World received a worldwide release date during the PlayStation 2017 Tokyo Game Show presentation. It will make its debut on January 26, 2018 . In addition, a PlayStation 4 Liolaeus (Rathalos) Edition bundle, various special editions, and pre-order promotions were announced. Also, this entry’s new, featured monster, the Nerugigante, was revealed.
The PlayStation 4 Liolaeus Edition bundle will come with a PlayStation 4 Pro that has a Rathalos on the front. It has appeared in the series since the very first Monster Hunter launched on the PlayStation 2. It will come with a matching controller. This system will be available on December 7, 2017 for 49,980 yen (~$447).
There will be a Digital Deluxe and Collector’s Edition for Monster Hunter World in Japan. The former will be 9,741 yen (~$87) and come with an array of DLC. People will get a ew armor series, three gestures, one paint and hairstyle for character customizations, a set of two stamps (total of 5), and 14 PlayStation Network avatars. The physical collector’s edition will be 15,980 yen (~$143). It will come with the game, a Nerugigante figure, a soundtrack, and an art book.
Monster Hunter: World will come to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on January 26, 2018. The PC version will be released sometime after the console versions.
