Monster Hunter: World is getting its first seasonal event called the “Astera Festival” (Spring Blossom Fest) that will arrive on April 6 along with a quest to get a community created weapon.
During the Spring 2018 broadcast today, we got a first look at what’s to come in the Astera Festival. The Gathering Hub will get a spring-like makeover with NPCs donning festive outfits for the duration of the seasonal event, which starts on April 6 and ends April 20, 2018.
Previously released event quests like the Horizon Zero Dawn quests will be available again in the seasonal event. The daily login bonus Lucky Vouchers will be increased to two per login bonus, and there will also be special tickets and fireworks for the event.
A special event-themed meal will be available exclusively at the Gathering Hub. This meal has plenty of stats with higher chances for you to get skills.
The hairstyle from the above character will also be available starting April 6.
And lastly, a special quest to get the community created Great Sword called “Wyvern Ignition” will be available during the event period.
Monster Hunter: World is available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The PC version releases in Fall 2018.
