Monster Hunter XX Announced For Nintendo 3DS, Adds G-Rank, Two New Styles, And More

During today’s Monster Hunter Direct presentation, Capcom revealed Monster Hunter XX, an upgraded version of Monster Hunter Generations.

Monster Hunter XX adds two new Hunting Styles with the Brave Style and one more unannounced Hunting Style which will be revealed on a later date. The game also adds G-Rank, a new main monster named バルファルク (Barufaruku) and a new Diablos variant. Prowlers will also have the ability to jump off monsters and more.

Monster Hunter XX releases in Japan on March 18, 2017 for Nintendo 3DS. Those with save data from Monster Hunter X (Monster Hunter Generations in the West) will get to transfer their save data over. Additionally, those with save data from Monster Hunter Stories will also get a Nabiru outfit for their Palicoes.
