Capcom showcased the latest of Monster Hunter XX during a recent Capcom TV web program, where we got to see some more of the new attack-happy “Brave Style” in action.

The footage begins at the 2:54:20 mark of the video, where the four players start out with a demonstration of the new “Brave Style” which increases its meter (that is shown above the player’s name) the more you hit monsters. Basically, it’s a DPS-happy style that promotes continuous attacks.

You can see them put it into action in the next part against the Yian Kut-Ku as part of the demonstration. Weapons have their own extra effects when they fill up their Brave Gauge, and the Bow and Arrow user shows how he’s able to shoot more while in a Brave State; however, it requires continuous hits to keep it up.

As previously detailed, certain weapons will see an increase in evasive maneuvers while in Brave State. Additionally, they’ll have access to more powerful combo attacks and special attacks o go with it.

Some of the additional extra features for going Brave Style include being able to charge a Great Sword while moving, shooting special bullets with the Light Bowgun while moving, an extra charge levels for more damage with the Hammer. You can read more about it in our earlier report.

Monster Hunter XX releases in Japan on March 18, 2017 for Nintendo 3DS.
