In order to acquire monsters through generation, you’ll get to use the network’s database to search for CD names and then have monsters generate from there. There’s a chance you can get rare monsters from checking out music from back then as well as the latest tracks.
As for Versus Mode, players will get to download and battle monsters raised by breeders from across Japan. For the Nintendo Switch version, it’ll also support two-player battles with Joy-Cons.
Monster Rancher releases for Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android in 2019. It first released for PlayStation in Japan in July 1997 followed by a North American release as Monster Rancher in November 1997.
