Mother 3 tops the sales charts

On April 20th Mother 3, Dragon Quest Shonen Yangus: Fushigi no Dungeon, Okami and Dragon Ball Z Shin Budokai were released simultaneously. Out of all these highly anticipated titles, Mother 3 sold 205,000 copies making it the number one selling game for the week of April 17-April 23. Yangus’ spin off adventure snags second place with 127,000 copies sold and Final Fantasy XI: The Treasures of Aht Urhgan takes the third spot with nearly 76,000 units sold. Clover Studio’s creative project, Okami, only netted 60,000 in sales.
