Move to Dance Dance Revolution on the Wii

At Konami’s gamer day event they announced an all new DDR title, Dance Dance Revolution Hottest Party for the Wii. On top of using the dance pad players use the Wii remote and nunchuck to play the game too. Samba de DDR? Besides changing the gameplay to a full body work out, Dance Dance Revolution Hottest Party has four player multiplayer and a pop inspired soundtrack. Instead of the usual club remixes and techno songs it is going to have “smash hits” like “Gonna Make You Sweat” which could pull in a more diverse crowd to the series. Another thing interesting is the gameplay interface is changed up a little. Instead of saying “Boo” or “Miss” there are indicators telling you if you’re too fast or too slow. This might be helpful for new DDR players, which is what Dance Dance Revolution: Hottest Party seems to be targeting.
