The final season of the My Hero Academia anime will reportedly bring an end to the series in 2025. The manga ended on August 4, 2024, back when chapter 430 of the series debuted. Season 7 of the anime series is currently ongoing. [Thanks, ryokutya2089!]

With the manga having come to an end, it’s easy to imagine that the anime series will soon follow suit. Season 7 of the My Hero Academia anime will end on October 12, 2024, after 21 episodes, and it covers the Star and Stripe Arc, U.A. Traitor Arc, and part of the Final War Arc of the manga. In the report of these news, leaker ryokutya2089 speculated that the possible final Season 8 of the My Hero Academia anime could consist of two cours of episodes.

Aside from its anime adaptation, the manga series will soon receive the My Hero Academia: You’re Next anime movie in theaters in North America, with its release date set for October 11, 2024. Additionally, a crossover event with Overwatch 2 will allow players to get skins based on the anime characters between October 17-30, 2024.

The My Hero Academia anime is available for streaming on Crunchyroll. Viz Media handles the release of the manga outside of Japan.
