My Nintendo Europe Offers Alternate Final Fantasy X|X-2 HD Remaster Cover

People in Europe now have an alternative Final Fantasy X|X-2 HD Remaster they can grab. My Nintendo Europe is now offering an alternate cover for physical copies. It costs 50 Platinum Coins, the currency people can earn for free by doing things like visiting the My Nintendo website or playing Nintendo mobile games like Fire Emblem Heroes and Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp.

The Final Fantasy X|X-2 HD Remaster cover available through My Nintendo Europe is almost identical to the one used on the actual physical copy. After someone acquires it, they get an A4 size PDF of a reversible cover to download and print out. It features the Final Fantasy X|X-2 HD Remaster cover designs without any lettering on them, though the spine does still feature the game’s title.

The reason for the My Nintendo Europe cover release has to do with a warning that appears on the European physical copy’s box art. There is a large block of text that notes that only Final Fantasy X HD Remaster is on the cartridge, and Final Fantasy X-2 HD Remaster is available via a single-use voucher code included.
